Atul graduated from a leading catering college and was immediately recruited by some of the top hotels in Mumbai, India. Having started his career at the 5 Star Deluxe Hyatt Regency, he also worked at the Grand Hyatt and Intercontinental's The Grand.
Looking for adventure, Atul then travelled to London to pursue a post graduate qualification in Hospitality Management whilst working at The Hilton Heathrow. After graduation, Atul took the opportunity to work as a Supervisor at the Oxford and Cambridge Club, one of London's most exclusive and prestigious private members' clubs. After a two year spell, Atul returned to the hotel sector and managed the restaurants at The Rubens at the Palace hotel one of which has a 2AA Rosette fine dining restaurant.
Atul’s professionalism, passionate approach and commitment to deliver the highest level of personal service brought him to the attention of the famous Cinnamon Group. Whilst working as the Unit Manager at The Cinnamon Soho Restaurant & Bar, Atul was recruited to take the helm as the General Manager at Haveli, Ponteland.
A consummate professional, Atul brings with him a wealth of extensive experience in hospitality and a real love of fine food and wine. Adept at understanding his customers' wishes and adapting service accordingly, Atul ensures every dining experience is bespoke and complete.
Atul believes in a management style which is warm, friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and discreet. He brings gravitas and enthusiasm alongside his talent as a host. A loyal following of regular diners is testament to Atul’s inherent ability to make everyone feel special and every visit memorable.
